What are Twinks? Exploring the Intriguing Subculture

While there are no set rules as to what a twink should look like, this type of aesthetic is often considered to be associated with the term “twink.”

The term twink does not just refer to aesthetics, however. Twink culture celebrates young gay men, recognizing that the often-negative stereotypes about them are untrue and outdated. Twinks are often open-minded, and embrace their sexuality with little fear or shame.
