What Channel is NASCAR on?

The NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series are broadcasted across a variety of different networks. With the return of competition to the 2021 NASACR series, fans want to make sure they know which channel is airing the race.

Race Schedules and Networks

The 2021 NASCAR season consists of 36 races, split between three tracks, and multiple networks. Both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series will air on the FOX Sports family of networks, the NBC Sports family of networks, the Motor Racing Network (MRN), and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

For NASCAR Cup Series broadcasts, each regional race will be aired on either FOX, FS1, and one regional network carrier. This includes FOX Sports regional networks, the Speed Channel, and MRN radio. For example, when it comes to the races at the Talladega Superspeedway, the broadcast will be split between FOX, Fox Sports Southeast, and MRN.

NBC, NBC Sports Network, and the Performance Racing Network will air all other domestic races throughout the year. The NBC Sports Network also provides coverage of all of the tour’s foreign track races as well.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will be broadcasted on the following networks: NBCSN, Fox Sports 1, and the Performance Racing Network. The network split is similar to that of the Cup Series, and the same networks cover races at international tracks.

For those interested in following NASCAR races via radio coverage, MRN covers Cup Series and Xfinity Series races both domestically and internationally. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio also covers all races but is only available in the United States.
