What is IKKK?
IKKK stands for International Kisses and Kicks Kolektiv, which is an international internet-based performance art collective that was founded in 2003. The group is based in Berlin and they produce live performances, digital art, and sound. They are known for their dedication to creating art with a strong ethical and political focus, and to using technology to foster public engagement.
The Collective’s Mission
The collective is dedicated to using creativity to explore and expand the boundaries of art and Culture, both online and offline. Through their performances, IKKK seeks to create a global community that is passionate, engaged and inspired to create work with social, cultural, and political relevance. They believe that art has the power to question and confront mainstream media, to broaden perspectives and inspire people to take action.
The Collective’s Projects
The collective produces various projects such as music, video, and performance art. They have collaborated with numerous international artists, such as Moses Hacmon, Gianmarco Bernasconi, Phoebe Schmidt, and Apoline Terre. They have exhibited at galleries, museums, universities, and festivals, such as the Berlin Wall Art Festival, the International Festival for Performance Art, and the International Performance Biennale in Berlin.
IKKK organizes workshops and seminars for young people, university students, and teachers. These events are focused on creating collaborative projects that allow participants to explore their creative potential and to learn about different media and techniques.
