As the world has become captivated by the exploits of Dutch veterinarian Jan Pol, better known as the star of Nat Geo Wild’s Dr. Pol, fans from around the world have wondered about the fate of Dr. Pol’s longtime associate and one-time protégé, Dr. Brenda.

Where is Dr. Brenda?

A graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Brenda Grettenberger worked with Dr. Pol and his family at their clinic on the couple’s Weidman, Michigan, homestead for more than 20 years. During the first few seasons of their show, viewers have grown to know and love Dr. Brenda as much as they have Dr. Pol.
