The Most Dangerous Animal in the World
Living creatures have been inhabiting this planet for centuries, each equipped with its own unique set of skills and traits that allow it to survive and thrive in its given environment. However, not all creatures are seen as equal, with some possessing greater strength and agility than others. This is especially true when it comes to the menacing animals that lurk on the fringes of civilization, so much so that they are labeled as being the most dangerous animals in the world.

Crocodilians
Though not accessible to all areas of the world, these predators can be found as far North as North America, down South to Argentina, and all the way across to China. With sharp razor-like teeth, a deadly bite-force equivalent to 1,360 psi and the strength to pull down and drown large creatures, it’s easy to see why the crocodilian family makes for one of the most dangerous animals in the world.

Sharks
If one looks up the word “dangerous” in an encyclopedia, the first creature that will come up is most likely the Shark. From the ferocious Great White Shark to the speedy Shortfin Mako, so many species of these aquatic predators can be found living in different habitats, stalking prey in both shallow and deep waters. While they are definitely to be feared, they are also extremely intelligent animals, relying on the use of their heightened senses to locate prey they would normally not be able to see.

Hippos
Although these giant mammals are typically associated with being peaceful, herbivorous animals, the Hippopotamus is a beast that should never be taken lightly. With a huge set of tusk-like canines, sharp hooves and a powerful jaw with a bite-force of up to 2,200 pound/psi, it’s not hard to see why Hippos are considered to be one of the most dangerous animals in the world.

Snakes
These slithering reptiles are feared, even amongst humans and it’s no wonder why. Ranging from species, such as the deadly Black Mamba or all the way to the highly-venomous inland Taipan, Snakes don’t possess great strength but their venomous bite provides them with a nasty sting and can easily be lethal in some cases.

Humans
Believe it or not, Humans also come in at a close second as one of the most dangerous animals in the world. Reckless, careless and detailed-oriented, so many of us have helped shape our world’s history through either war or technological advancement, with no animal coming close in terms of capability, intelligence and innovation.

So many of the animals mentioned above, while dangerous, are also incredibly smart and have their own unique strategies that help them survive in the ever-changing environment that is our planet. However, their threat should not be taken lightly since each one can be just as menacing towards humans as the other.
